Home Meet the Team Programs Payment Options -- Covid Class Schedule

We are excited to announce that we WILL BE OPENING for in class instruction, September 8th!  As long as we are still in Phase 2 or Phase 3 we will open for instruction as “camps”.

We will be reopening with safety procedures in place to ensure the health and safety of all students, staff and families.  Parents will bring their child to the front door where you will be greeted by our front desk staff. They will then take temperatures and welcome students into the studios.  Students will wait in the lobby until the previous class has exited the building and the teachers will lead them into their room. Students should wear a mask into the building and into class.  Once socially distanced in the classroom students will be able to remove their masks if they wish. Staff will be wearing masks. Between classes, classrooms, lobbies, bathrooms  and equipment will be disinfected.  Classes will be limited to 8 students per class.

Students are expected to respect the rules of the studios including:

Do not attend class if you are sick. Should a student come for class and appear ill, the studio has the right to deny entrance.

Do not attend class until you are 48 hours fever free with NO MEDICINE.

If anyone in the family has been exposed to COVID, they must wait 14 days before coming to class.

Listen to instructors and staff about safely conducting class.

For students who do not feel comfortable returning to the studio, we will offer Virtual Learning Opportunities.  These will be classes that only meet online. These classes may also be utilized for students are sick and unable to attend class in person.

We are hopeful to be able to host a regular recital this year.  However, we are prepared with alternative opportunities for recital for the upcoming year.

Plan A - If we have access to the schools and the restrictions on gathering are gone, we will host recital like a normal year.  Should there still be gathering limitations, we will abide by them, but will split up classes in a way that family and friends would be able to join in as an audience.

Plan B - If we have access to the school, but restrictions on gathering sizes are still strict, we will have students on the stage performing recital and will record and compile onto a DVD or file as we have in the past and share with families.  Should restrictions give us the opportunity, we will allow for a limited audience.

Plan C - If we have no access to the schools, we will have students in the studio and film their performance to be released on DVD or file. We will also consider outside opportunities for performances.

Unfortunately, for the 2019 - 2020 season, with the shutdown, costume companies were unable to fulfill orders for costume purchases as they shut down right around the time we normally place our orders. We plan to order costumes as early as possible to ensure students receive the intended costume.

We will be following ALL guidelines/protocols set forth by CDC and the NC Governor’s Office. If our opening date is changed by the governor, payments will be prorated or credited to a future class.
