Hannah has been with Carolina Dance and Gymnastics since 2017 and is our Asheboro manager.  She graduated from Lenoir-Rhyne University with a BA in Public Relations and Multimedia Journalism in 2014.  Her favorite part of working for the studio is getting to know the students and watching their excitement when they learn.

When she isn't in the studio, she is spending time with her nephews and goats on their farm in Silk Hope or working as a wedding planner.

Allison (LaPrade) Gaither-–Founder/CEO

Allison is the founder and CEO of Carolina Dance and Gymnastics, LLC. She was also the founder of Body and Motion, Inc, School of Yoga and Performing Arts from 1998-2006. She began teaching dance in 1987 and yoga and yoga teacher trainings in 1998, founding one of the first Yoga Teacher Training Schools in North Carolina.

Allison has degrees in both dance and biology from UNC-G and some of her credits include starring in 2 “Basic Yoga for Golfers” videos, “Body and Motion Teacher Training Video”, 3 relaxation meditation CDs, and has written articles for local, national, and international magazines, including Dance Teacher Magazine.

She has taught continuing education at state, national, and international conferences, and works closely with international business coaches in order to continue learning best business practice to bring high quality arts education to our communities, students, parents, and staff.

In addition to being a busy CEO, she takes time for her most precious and demanding job…taking care of her 2 young daughters and home schooling them. She loves being a mom and tries to put on her “mom” hat and think of our busy studio moms when designing programs and schedules. You may only see her every once in a while at the studio checking in, but she is constantly busy working behind the scenes in her home office in order to bring the best arts experience to your children and our communities.

Hillary joined Carolina Dance and Gymnastics in 2018 and is our Siler City Manager.

Mikayla is a Psychology major at UNC-G and will graduate with her BA in the Spring of 2020. Her degree has helped her understand and accommodate for a variety of obstacles that children face throughout their development.

She began gymnastics when she was 6 and was a cheerleader from the 8th grade through her first year in college. Mikayla has a passion for tumbling, increasing flexibility and body mechanics, which she exudes in all of her classes. On top of being a gymnastics coach, she has also coached competitive cheerleading and has her CNA certification.

Raelynn enjoys riding horses and working on her farm with her husband, Kevin.  She also spends her time volunteering as the youth director at Triad Cowboy Church and Easters Promise Therapeutic Equine Center.

Annika started as a student with us in 2013 and became a teacher assistant in 2018. She was our first student to go through our mentoring program and is absolutely amazing with our young gymnasts!

Annika is a high school sophomore at the Chatham School of Science and Engineering. She is in Chatham’s early college program and is on track to finish her Associate degree in Science by the time she graduates high school! She is also a member of her school’s dance ensemble which competes in the annual scholastic dance competition. Along with dance and gymnastics, Annika loves acting. While in middle school, she started a drama club that still performs annually and enjoys volunteering each year to help with their performance. She also started a drama club in her high school which wrote an original script and performed it last spring. In 2018 she received the Ben Carson Scholarship for dedication and leadership in her academics and around the community. Annika was a cheerleader for two years and cheer captain.

She is very excited to begin her second year teaching gymnastics and can’t wait for the upcoming school year! She is an amazing young lady that truly inspires everyone around her!
